Blue Mountain Opens for Skiing – Friday Dec 10, 2021

Opening Day for Blue Mountain ski resort on Friday Dec 10th, 2021!

Have you been dreaming of getting outside and hitting the slopes? Mother Nature has given us the gift of snow early this year.  This early snow and colder temps have created the perfect setting for skiers and snowboarders to hit the slopes.  The Blue Mountain resort located just 1.5 hours north of Toronto is ready to open for its’ winter season tomorrow.

The Silver Bullet high-speed six-person chairlift will be running providing access to Tranquility, Smart Alec, Memory lane and Yahoo runs. For the beginners in the crowd, head over to the Easy Rider magic carpet and Graduate Lifts. The terrain park is open on the Yahoo trail. Beginner ski and snowboard programs are available and Grand Central Lodge will be open for food and drinks.

Time – Open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Open for Daily skiing from Dec 10th and Night Skiing begins on Thursday Dec 16th weather and conditions permitting.

For non-season ticket holders lift tickets can be purchased at http://bluemountain.ca.

Proof of vaccination is not required to ski or ride however mask use is always recommended and physical distancing is required in lift lines. This season masks ARE required to ride the chairlifts. For indoor dining proof of vaccination is currently required as per Government Guidelines along with mask-wearing.
